Madara is a villainous main character of Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin in the Akakabuto Arc.
He is the commander of Akakabuto's first fortress. He had 6 servants.
Madara is a big Asian black bear, who has black fur and several scars across his body. In the anime, his colour are more dark blue rather than black.
Madara appears in Ouu to fight Akakabuto, but loses and becomes one of his soldiers. He becomes the commander of one of Akakabuto's forts. When the dogs of Ouu attack the fortress, Madara kills many of them but is eventually killed by Gin and Akame from loss of blood.
Madara came to the Ouu mountains in an attempt to challenge Akakabuto, but lost the fight. However, he was allowed to be in charge of his own area in order to help protect Gajou from the dogs.
He was the commander of the first fort in the final battle and was nearly impossible to defeat. He managed to kill several dogs including Jinnai and Kirikaze before Gin and Akame speared him with a large branch through the mouth. Unwilling to give up, he climbed a tree in order to try and kill Gin, but fell to his death due to blood loss.
- In the Scandinavian and Finnish dubs Madara is referred to as a female.
- But this was a translation mistake in the subtitles, where Madara is referred to as female (mesu), while the actual word used in the scene is osu (male).
