Yoshimoto Imagawa was a great samurai, daimyo.
During the violent Sengoku period, most daimyo began to seize the surrounding area. Yoshimoto was best at fighting. He gathered a huge army of forty thousand soldiers and captured about three provinces. His biggest dream was the conquest of the capital. Together with his army, he came to the territory of Nobunaga Oda. Having conquered several of his fortresses, he stopped for a halt in one of them. Caught in a heavy downpour, Imagawa was not going to move out of the fortress. This was exactly what his enemies took advantage of and unexpectedly attacked from the hill. He was killed in a serious carnage.
